The Tombs of Kom el-Shoqafa are a historical archaeological site located in Alexandria, in the Kom el-Shoqafa area, south of the Mina al-Basal neighborhood. It is considered one of the most important cemeteries in the city, and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World in the Middle Ages. The necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological remains of Pharaonic funerary cult, and because of the time period, many features of the Kom el Shoqafa catacombs combine Roman, Greek and Egyptian cultural points


Qaitbay Citadel

The Citadel of Qaitbay is a 15th-century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean sea coast, in Alexandria, Egypt. It was built from 1477 to 1479 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf al-Din Qa’it Bay. The Citadel is situated on the eastern side of the northern tip of Pharos Island at the mouth of the Eastern Harbour.

    We had a lot of fun on this trip, and all the staff was excellent. The organization of the trip was excellent, and the driver was likable, and we felt safe with him.
